Jonathan Virginia Green is an artist from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Tulsa with a BFA in 2011. He has exhibited his work in much of the United States Midwest including Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Ohio, and recently extended to California. Currently he is working to complete his MFA in painting at the University of Arkansas. His work is concerned with perceptual phenomena that is oriented within a queer/transgender experience. He uses his work to explore interpretations of desire, pleasure, and transformation. His practice includes painting, drawing, and video.
