Here are some general FAQs about the application.

Q1. Who is eligible?
Everyone! We welcome applications from around the world and from any age and background.

Q2. Do I need prior experience?
No! But we strongly encourage you to have some familiarity with literary magazines, whether it be reading publications, submitting to them, etc.

Q3. Is there a deadline?
Tentatively, it’s April 30, 11:59pm EST. That said, this may change based on the number of applications received.

Q4. What will the application process look like?
We’d like you to answer a few background questions, talk about why you’d like to edit for us, and provide a short work sample.

Q5. Can I apply for both the poetry and prose editor positions?
Yes. However, do mention which role you’d prefer.

Q6. What does the time commitment look like?
Around 3h/week.

Q7. When will I receive a decision?
Rolling decisions, hopefully before May 15th.
