“My art is bittersweet, it serves a message to the outside world that surrounds us, an illustrated story that allows the viewer to become one with the piece. It is like the cup of lessons mama used to serve to start my day, a journey full of obstacles and experiences. It is a series of photographs to the public eye, a voice for those who feel silenced, a solution to bring vibrancy to the white pages. Experience is the best guide to a successful journey; throughout my work I not only represent my yesterday but another man’s tomorrow. The different media, techniques, and styles used throughout my work expresses the emotion, change and overall vibe of my journey and will continue to strive to keep moving forward. I hope that my work inspires and motivates others to also make a difference through their own experiences and creativity, and overall express the unity that is needed in today’s world.”
